XIAO ePaper Display Board EE03 is a controller board designed to operate 10.3-inch monochrome ePaper displays. The module is based on the high-performance XIAO ESP32-S3 Plus, which provides high computing power, wireless communication, and the ability to easily create applications displaying data on e-ink screens. The device supports displays with a resolution of 1404 × 1872 pixels and the ability to present up to 16 levels of grayscale. This allows the screen to display detailed graphics, text, and user interfaces resembling traditional paper. The integrated T-CON controller provides precise control of refresh signals, enabling fast image updates while maintaining high operational stability.

The board also includes a SHT40 temperature sensor, which enables compensation of the display refresh characteristics depending on environmental conditions. This solution helps maintain proper image quality and stable display operation across different temperatures. The module offers convenient battery power via a JST 2.0 mm connector and an integrated battery charging circuit. An additional power switch allows easy power management, which is particularly important in projects using energy-efficient ePaper displays. Users have access to four hardware buttons – one reset button and three user buttons that can be programmed to handle different application functions. This makes it possible to quickly create control interfaces without adding additional hardware components.
The board comes with preinstalled SenseCraft HMI software, which allows designing user interfaces without writing code. The platform offers templates and a drag-and-drop graphical editor, as well as optional AI support for UI creation. As a result, a project can be prepared and launched on the display in just a few steps. The XIAO ePaper Display Board EE03 is ideal for projects such as e-book readers, information boards, data dashboards, notification systems, IoT displays, or electronic timetable boards. Low power consumption and high display readability make it an ideal platform for building energy-efficient information display devices.
