UTC-T01 Industrial USB-to-CAN Adapter is a compact device that enables communication between a computer and a CAN bus. It is designed for embedded systems engineers, FPGA developers, and specialists analyzing and diagnosing CAN networks. Thanks to the STM32 microcontroller, it provides stable data transmission in the range from 5 kbps to 1 Mbps. The adapter supports the CAN 2.0A standard and works with many industrial systems, vehicles, and IoT devices.
The device offers two operating modes: PCAN and Transparent Mode. In PCAN mode it works like a classic PCAN-USB adapter and is compatible with diagnostic tools such as PCAN-View and TS-Master. It is also possible to upload open-source firmware such as SLCAN or Candlelight. Transparent Mode allows communication with the CAN bus via a virtual serial port without installing additional drivers.
The adapter works with Windows, Linux, and Android systems, as well as embedded platforms such as Raspberry Pi. A DIP switch allows configuration of the 120 Ω termination resistor, 0 Ω resistance, and BOOT mode for firmware updates. LED indicators show power and transmission activity. The device also supports features such as cyclic transmission, multi-frame sending, and CAN identifier filtering, which makes testing and debugging systems easier.
