OBD-II CAN-BUS Development Kit is a set of necessary tools needed to perform vehicle diagnostics. It consists of a CAN Bus module, an OBD II connector and the necessary wires. CAN Bus module can be connected to any evaluation kit, incl. Arduino, Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone using the UART interface. The kit includes the Arduino library, which makes it much easier to start working with the kit, as well as documentation and a sample project. OBD-II CAN-BUS Development Kit is an excellent tool for any hobbyist who would like to learn about the operation of the OBD II system.
OBD-II (short for On-Board Diagnostics, Second Generation) is a built-in vehicle self-diagnosis system. It allows you to accurately identify your vehicle's problem by connecting a 16-pin OBD-II reader and reading OBD-II codes, known as Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), which are helpful in understanding problems without having to completely disassemble the vehicle.
