A module with a PIR S16-L221D motion sensor, which allows you to detect motion at a distance of up to 3 meters with a detection angle of 80 degrees. It uses an infrared signal generated from the body, e.g. a human, and the output signal is triggered by movement. It is perfect for alarm systems or other systems that require human presence detection. There are two potentiometers on the board, which allow to adjust the duration of the high signal after motion detection and the detection range. The module is equipped with a Grove connector, so it can be used with the Base Shield V2 and Arduino extension. It communicates via a digital interface and is supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V. Full documentation with examples of use is available on the product page.
