UART-CAN converter module with a built-in microcontroller (MCU) and a CAN transceiver system. The implemented conversion algorithm allows for simple configuration and supports the CAN 2.0A (standard frame) and CAN 2.0B (extended frame) standards. It has 14 sets of configurable filters, allowing it to only receive data within a specific range and type on the CAN bus. The converter supports 4 operating modes: transparent conversion, transparent conversion with identifiers, format conversion and Modbus RTU protocol conversion. In addition, it has a built-in CAN buffer to prevent data loss during transmission. The device software is updated via the TTL interface, which facilitates, among others: adapting functions to individual needs. The pins of the system are available on goldpin pins with a standard 2.54 mm pitch, and the converter works with voltages of 3.3 V. It is a good choice when designing and prototyping devices based on the CAN bus.
