Module with an infrared sensor MLX90640, which is in fact a measuring matrix with a resolution of 32x24 pixels. It enables temperature measurement in the range from -40 to 300°C with an accuracy of 1°C. The camera has a viewing angle of 55°x35°, and communication with the sensor is via the I2C interface. As feedback, it sends data independently for each pixel (obtaining the temperature, however, requires complex calculations) with a refresh rate of up to 64 Hz. The sensor can be used as a low-resolution thermal imaging camera. Documentation with a library and examples in Python is available in the GitHub repository.
Attention!
Due to the high demand of RAM and Flash memory to perform the necessary calculations, development kits based on microcontrollers with less memory, eg Arduino UNO, may not be able to handle the MLX90640 sensor. It is recommended to use chips with more memory.Responsible person BTC Korporacja sp. z o. o. Lwowska 5 05-120 Legionowo Poland sprzedaz@kamami.pl 22 767 36 20
