Description

PureThermal OpenMV is a product created jointly by GetLab and OpenMV with a view to providing users with a module equipped with a high-class color camera and a thermal imaging camera for professional use. The board contains a STM32H743XI microcontroller, a 5MP OV5640 camera module, a socket to support any FLIR Lepton and a VL53L0X laser rangefinder, which helps in drawing a thermal image on a color image using the appropriate shift / scaling.

Live video can be displayed on the built-in 4.3” 800x480 LCD capacitive touch screen. It is also available on an HDMI monitor or streamed over Wi-Fi (RTSP). PureThermal OpenMV can be programmed like any OpenMV camera in Python and operated via the MicroPython API.

The module is based on OpenMV Cam H7 Plus by OpenMV. It is programmed with the OpenMV IDE, has TensorFlow support, and can handle neural networks, track objects, detect people, etc.
