A compact evaluation board that allows you to quickly connect the FLIR Lepton thermal imaging camera module to a Raspberry Pi or your own hardware projects. The board provides a local 3-5.5V power supply and an on-board clock necessary for proper module operation, with the option to bypass these components via a jumper. FLIR Lepton Breakout Board v2.0
FLIR Lepton Breakout Board v2.0 is a practical evaluation board that allows quick connection of a FLIR Lepton thermal camera module to popular platforms such as Raspberry Pi or custom hardware projects. The board provides local power sources ranging from 3 to 5.5 V and a clock required for proper module operation. Additionally, all power and startup sequence elements can be bypassed using a jumper, enhancing integration flexibility.
Breakout Board v2.0 is designed for easy integration and rapid deployment in prototypes and research projects. Its compact size and low weight make it suitable for systems where minimal size, weight, and power consumption (SWaP) are important. The board operates in a temperature range of 0°C to 55°C and is compatible with all FLIR Lepton modules (module sold separately).
This product is ideal for applications where cost, quality, and small form factor are critical, such as portable thermal monitoring systems, robotics, drones, or IoT devices. With the breakout board, integrators and engineers can quickly prototype and test thermal camera functionalities without designing their own power and clock circuitry.
