Description
The SparkFun Mini Stepper Motor Driver is a compact driver that allows for precise control of bipolar stepper motors. Its small size makes it perfect for space-saving projects and prototyping applications. The driver works seamlessly with breadboards, and getting started is easy thanks to the extensive Arduino library, which includes 10 examples to simplify setup and testing.
The driver provides remarkable motion precision, supporting up to 1/128 step resolution, offering smooth and controlled operation in every task. It supports two control modes: traditional clock-in stepping and serial commands. The serial control option adds extra functionality, allowing for adjustments such as phase, torque, current limiting, and current decay ratio. Notably, the driver eliminates the need for manual current limit adjustments via potentiometers, offering full software-based control instead.
