Extension module with a driver for two stepper motors based on the HR8825 system. It allows you to control drives with a working voltage from 8.2 V to 28 V with a maximum current of 2.5 A, regulated by a potentiometer. Built-in switches allow you to select microstepping from full step to 1/32 step.
1. Raspberry Pi GPIO | 5. Power supply interface 8,2 - 28 V |
2. Motor interface | 6. Motor power switch |
3. MP1482 power chip | 7. DIP switch |
4. HR8825 motor driver | 8. Potentiometer |
The module has protection against overload, overheating and too low voltage, and the 5 V stabilizer allows you to directly power the RPi minicomputer from the expansion board. The board has a 40-pin connector compatible with Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano. It will be used in projects using stepper motors, incl. 3D printers, plotters and home automation. Full documentation and sample programs are available on the product page.

DC motor controller that allows the movement of three drives to be controlled via an I2C interface. Board with soldered connectors. Pololu 5071
This add-on board makes it easy to control two high-power DC motors with a Raspberry Pi. Its twin discrete MOSFET H-bridges support a wide 6.5 V to 30 Voperating range and are efficient enough to deliver a continuous 18 A without a heat sink. The drivers offer basic current limiting functionality, and they accept ultrasonic PWM frequencies for quieter operation.
