A development kit with a Bluetooth Low Energy module based on the nRF52832 microcontroller from Nordic Semiconductor. The system offers GPIO, SPI, UART, I2C, I2S, PWM, ADC and NFC interfaces for connecting peripherals and sensors. The module is characterized by a compact size and low power consumption. There is a connector for 3.7 V lithium-polymer batteries on the board and a built-in charging circuit. The module can also be powered directly from the micro USB connector. It is compatible with most devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers. It can be programmed using the Nordic SDK environment, Arduino IDE, micropython or MyNewt.
Bluetooth Low Energy is an energy-saving wireless protocol operating at 2.4 GHz. It is the only wireless protocol that can be used with iOS without the need for a special certificate. To get started with Bluefruit quickly, the Bluefruit iOS App or Android App is at your disposal. It allows you to create a prototype based on functions such as a color selector, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer or location (GPS) and an 8-button game console. Full documentation with numerous examples is available on the product page.
