The IRIDIUM 2J7426MPz antenna is a high-performance magnet-mounted antenna, specifically designed for effective communication with the Iridium satellite communication system. Made from high-quality polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA), it offers excellent UV resistance, moisture resistance, high temperature tolerance, and improved mechanical properties.
The antenna enclosure is waterproof to IP69 standards, allowing it to operate in extremely harsh conditions, including frequent exposure to water, dust, and contaminants. The antenna is designed for operation and storage in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The magnetic mount allows for easy installation and removal between vehicles or assets, and it can also be easily converted to an adhesive mount for greater flexibility. The antenna comes with a standard male SMA connector and a high-quality LL100 coaxial cable of 300 cm length. It is Iridium-certified for commercial use with the Iridium communication system.
