Description
Protective grounding strap to protect against lightning. ESD discharge for voltages lower than 3kV that is not felt by us, while for integrated circuits and microprocessors it is a huge charge that can cause damage. The strap should always be worn during contact with electronics, while the other end should be connected to a ground electrode capable of discharging excess charge.
