The ArduCam B0561 operates as a USB 2.0 camera compliant with the UVC standard and is used for image acquisition in vision systems, robotics, image analysis, and laboratory applications. The design uses a SONY 16MP color sensor with an optical size of 1/2.8″ and a pixel size of 1.12µm × 1.12µm. The “full sensor coverage” mode enables use of the entire active sensor area without in-device cropping.
The optical system with autofocus supports an effective focus range from 10 cm to infinity. Support for lower resolutions (including 480p, 720p, and 1080p) allows digital PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) adjustments without physically moving the camera. The UVC interface enables operation without additional drivers, with control of parameters such as brightness, contrast, saturation, white balance, exposure, gain, and focus (auto/manual), depending on the application used.
