Description
Brymen BM198PV is a next-generation clamp meter designed for demanding applications, including photovoltaic (PV) installations, industrial systems, and high-voltage power networks. The device enables measurement of AC, DC, and AC+DC current in True RMS mode up to 2000 A, allowing precise analysis even of very high loads. With a maximum jaw opening of 55 mm, the meter is suitable for thick conductors and busbars.
The BM198PV model stands out with its ability to measure DC voltage up to 1500 V DC, making it an ideal tool for photovoltaic systems and high-voltage power applications. The use of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) functionality enables accurate voltage and frequency measurements in inverter-driven systems. Additionally, the device offers simultaneous V + Hz measurement, significantly improving drive system diagnostics. The meter is equipped with advanced functions such as Crest 5 ms for peak value capture, REL for differential measurements, and HOLD for freezing results on the display. The EF-Detection function enables non-contact voltage detection, increasing user safety. An additional signal filter improves measurement stability in environments with high electromagnetic interference.
The device features a dual backlit LCD display, allowing simultaneous presentation of multiple parameters. Thanks to the USB interface, communication with a computer and analysis of measurement data is possible. High safety category CAT IV 1000 V and CAT III 1500 V along with 12 kV surge protection ensure safe operation even in the most demanding conditions.
