The module with SIM868 is designed to work with the Raspberry Pi Pico. It enables communication in the 2G and Bluetooth 3.0 standard, as well as positioning using GNSS systems such as GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou. It can be controlled by AT commands and supports communication protocols such as HTTP, MQTT, TCP, UDP, FTP, etc. Due to its low power consumption and long range, it is an ideal choice for applications in small devices requiring support for telephone calls, SMS, positioning and bluetooth communication.
The board is equipped with a 1.14" color LCD display, which communicates via the SPI interface (the popular ST7789 controller). The user also has RPi Pico connectors, audio connector, SIM card slot and connectors for connecting an external GNSS antenna, GSM and BT. The module is powered by the microUSB socket, and communication can take place directly via the UART interface, or via the USB interface (built-in USB-UART converter).
