The module with SIM7080G is designed to work with the Raspberry Pi Pico. It enables the use of communication in the NB-IoT and Cat-M standard, as well as positioning using GNSS systems such as GPS, BLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo. It can be controlled by AT commands and supports communication protocols such as HTTP, MQTT, LWM2M, COAP etc. Due to its low latency, low power consumption, low cost and wide range, it is an ideal choice for IoT applications such as smart instruments, tracking resources and remote monitoring.
The module has an integrated 3.7V Li-Po battery charging system, two LEDs to indicate operation and a nano SIM card slot. It is compatible with 3.3V systems. Full documentation with examples is available on the product Wiki page.
