Description
The Akyga® AK-SC-E18 adapter enables charging of electric vehicles equipped with a CHAdeMO connector at European DC charging stations using a CCS Combo 2 plug. Designed for owners of vehicles imported from outside Europe, the adapter converts the CCS2 standard to CHAdeMO, allowing fast charging at up to 1000 V and 250 A, delivering a maximum power of 250 kW.
The built-in control unit ensures stability and safety during charging. Powered by a Li-Ion 18650 battery charged via USB-C, the adapter operates independently of external power sources. Its housing is made of flame-retardant TPE, with silver-plated contacts, IP54 protection rating, and compliance with CE, RoHS, and REACH standards, confirming its high quality and resistance to harsh operating conditions. The adapter is suitable for popular EV models with CHAdeMO ports such as the Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi i-MiEV, or Peugeot ION.
