A book for all electronic engineers who want to learn about the structure of AVR microcontrollers and how to program them in assembler.
The book is a source of knowledge about programming techniques in assemblage of AVR microcontrollers manufactured by Atmel. The book contains information on the construction of AVR microcontrollers (description of, among others, core, program memory, data memory, microcontroller special registers), assembly language description (including a complete list of instructions, description of the most important compiler directives) and presentation of basic tools for creating and software simulation. The practical part deals with selected arithmetic issues applicable to programming and presents basic algorithms solving typical problems encountered in microprocessor technology.
Andrzej Pawluczuk is a graduate of the Electrical Department of the Białystok University of Technology. During his studies he first encountered computer programming, which in a short time turned into a lifetime of passion. The evolving microprocessor technology allowed to combine the existing interest in electronics with the ability to create software. In his professional career, apart from writing programs, he also deals in the construction of electronic devices that use the latest achievements in digital technology and computer science.
