Continuation of the considerations started in the book "The programming art of AVR microcontrollers - the basics". The book describes practical ways of handling the most popular peripheral circuits connected to AVR microcontrollers, including alphanumeric LCD displays, 7-segment LED displays, serial transmission systems (RS232, I2C), external RAM memory. Additionally, the book presents frequently used in the projects EEPROM memory handling procedures and an example of the implementation of a multi-level menu. The examples were written in assembler using widely available and free software tools.
A book for all electronic engineers who want to learn about the structure of AVR microcontrollers and how to program them in assembler.
Andrzej Pawluczuk is a graduate of the Electrical Department of the Białystok University of Technology. During his studies he first encountered computer programming, which in a short time turned into a lifetime of passion. The evolving microprocessor technology allowed to combine the existing interest in electronics with the ability to create software. In his professional career, apart from writing programs, he also deals in the construction of electronic devices that use the latest achievements in digital technology and computer science.
