This compact ESP32-based board offers full functionality in a package measuring just 13 x 27 mm. Equipped with a 3.3 V regulator (700 mA), 4 MB of PSRAM, a battery charger, and 27 GPIO pins, it delivers high performance with minimal power consumption. Separate 5 V and 3.3 V power paths and automatic disconnection of unused components increase energy efficiency. The TinyPICO NANO works with the Arduino IDE, MicroPython, and ESP-IDF.
TinyPICO NANO is a miniature yet fully functional ESP32-based board, designed for direct integration into your own PCB. Despite its compact size (13 × 27 mm), TinyPICO NANO makes no compromises in terms of performance or functionality. Equipped with a 700 mA 3.3 V regulator, a built-in battery management circuit, 4 MB of additional PSRAM, and 27 GPIO pins, the module offers the full capabilities of a classic ESP32 in an ultra-compact form.

TinyPICO NANO has been optimized for low-power operation – in deep sleep mode it consumes less than 20 µA (typically 18 µA). This makes it perfect for battery-powered applications and IoT devices where energy efficiency is critical. The power system is divided into two independent rails: 5 V and 3.3 V. Components unnecessary in battery mode are automatically disconnected when 5 V power is not present, further reducing energy consumption. Even the power LED is disabled in this mode.
All available pins are exposed, including 6 ADC1 input pins, as well as EN (to disable the 3.3 V LDO) and STAT (battery charging status indicator) pins. TinyPICO NANO is compatible with popular development environments such as Arduino IDE, MicroPython, and ESP-IDF, enabling fast prototyping and project development. The module is supplied without a USB connector – users can add their own on a carrier board by wiring VBUS (5V), GND, D+, and D- to the corresponding module pins. TinyPICO NANO is designed for reflow or hot-air soldering using SAC305 solder paste. Combining low power consumption, rich functionality, and minimal size, TinyPICO NANO is the perfect solution for designers creating intelligent, compact, and efficient electronic systems.
