The ESP32-PICO-D4 development board combines the high performance of a dual-core 240MHz processor with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth BLE 4.2 connectivity. Equipped with the CH9102F USB-UART chip, a 3.3V (700mA) regulator, 4MB of PSRAM, and an on-board LiPo battery management system, it delivers powerful functionality with minimal power consumption. Compatible with the Arduino IDE, MicroPython, CircuitPython, and ESP-IDF. TinyPICO V3 USB-C
TinyPICO is a development board featuring the ESP32 module, designed to fully harness the power of its 240 MHz dual-core processor and integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity in a compact format. It is equipped with a CH9102F USB-UART converter for communication and programming. TinyPICO is an extremely versatile development platform created for use with MicroPython, CircuitPython, and C. It includes a built-in 3D antenna, allowing it to operate without the need for an external antenna. Despite its small size, TinyPICO offers everything required for advanced IoT and consumer electronics projects.
The board includes a 3.3 V voltage regulator rated at 700 mA, an integrated LiPo battery management system, 4 MB of PSRAM, and 14 GPIO pins ready for use. Thanks to its specially designed architecture, TinyPICO can achieve very low power consumption — down to 20 µA in deep sleep mode. The power system is optimized through the use of two isolated power rails: 5 V and 3.3 V, allowing automatic disconnection of unnecessary components when powered by a battery. Even the power and charge LEDs are automatically turned off when no 5 V source is connected, maximizing energy efficiency.
The board also features an APA102 RGB LED whose power can be completely disabled via GPIO13 and an integrated MOSFET, giving the user full control over energy consumption and minimizing current draw during sleep mode. To simplify programming, TinyPICO helper libraries for Arduino and MicroPython are available, automating power management and LED control. TinyPICO is breadboard-compatible, making it an ideal choice for rapid prototyping. It supports Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth BLE 4.2, making it perfect for any project requiring wireless connectivity. The combination of compact dimensions, high performance, and low power consumption makes TinyPICO an ideal solution for makers, hobbyists, and engineers seeking a powerful microcontroller in a small form factor.
