The Waveshare ESP32-S3-DEV-KIT-N32R16V-M development board is intended for IoT, AIoT, and embedded applications requiring high computing performance and wireless communication. The board is based on the ESP32-S3-WROOM module with a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor operating at up to 240 MHz, providing sufficient processing power for networking applications, multimedia handling, and data processing algorithms.

The microcontroller is equipped with 32 MB of Flash memory and 16 MB of PSRAM, enabling the development of advanced projects involving graphics, network communication, and environments such as MicroPython or Arduino. Integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5 support allow the creation of wireless devices for local networks and IoT systems.

The board features a USB Type-C connector and onboard CH343 and CH334 chips, enabling programming and UART communication without the need for external converters. The pinout layout facilitates expansion with additional modules and peripherals. Support for ESP-IDF, Arduino, and MicroPython environments allows quick setup and flexible selection of development tools.
The board is supplied with factory pre-soldered pin headers, allowing immediate use without the need for soldering.
