Description

LAN9730I-ABZJ is a highly integrated integrated circuit that enables adding Ethernet connectivity to systems equipped with a USB interface. The device integrates a USB 2.0 controller, a 3-port USB hub and a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet controller with a built-in PHY, reducing the number of external components required in a design.

The chip communicates with the host system through a USB 2.0 High-Speed interface and allows additional USB devices to be connected thanks to the integrated hub. LAN9730I supports automatic speed negotiation, polarity detection and power management features.

Due to its high level of integration and minimal external component requirements, the device is suitable for use in single-board computers, IoT devices, industrial equipment, terminals and other embedded projects requiring Ethernet connectivity.
