Description

Connection of the Segger emNet stack with the energy-saving physical layer system 10BASET1L Ethernet MAC-PHY ADIN1110. It enables the creation of applications with minimal energy consumption, fast data transmission and high reliability.

The emNet IP stack is the perfect choice for energy-efficient processors with maximum transmission speed. The stack offers maximum possible performance, minimum memory requirements, and simple integration and configuration. The ADIN1110 chip simplifies the connection with the processor thanks to the flexible SPI bus.

The combination of emNET and ADIN1110 enables the selection of small microcontrollers with little memory and without their own MAC address. The package supports external MACs such as ADIN1110, which allows any standard microcontroller to provide internet access. The package is also very efficient in terms of Flash memory, RAM and packet processing. This means that even small processors are able to provide high network performance.

EmNet and the ADIN1110 chip support the latest Ethernet-APL standard and comply with the IEEE802.3cg technology for 10BASE-T1L. This ensures fully bi-directional 10 MBit / s transfer as well as 1 km power transmission over one pair of twisted wires. This allows access to new data from devices located in remote and dangerous places, and also gives the possibility of real-time configuration.
