Description

USR-GPRS232-730 is a modern data transmission device that enables bidirectional transmission between the RS232/RS485 serial port and the network. It provides a reliable connection and transparent data transmission, eliminating the barrier between the serial port and the network. USR-GPRS232-730 supports many useful functions, such as identity packets, heartbeat packets and simultaneous support for two connections. It works in GSM850/900 and DCS1800/1900 networks, supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE standards, which makes it compatible with 2G/3G/4G SIM cards.

The device enables data transmission in both TCP and UDP modes, providing flexibility in applications that require different protocols. Each connection supports a 4KB data buffer, which contributes to efficient transmission. The module offers three operating modes: transparent SMS transmission mode, transparent network transmission mode and HTTPD mode, which makes it versatile and adapted to various application scenarios. Additionally, it supports sending SMS in English (EN) through appropriate commands. Automatic synchronization of data transmission speeds and the ability to dynamically modify DTU serial parameters via the network make configuration and adjustment of the device simple and intuitive.
