Description

CrowPanel 1.28inch-HMI is a compact interactive display module combining a round touchscreen with a precise rotary knob. The device is powered by a high-performance dual-core ESP32-S3 processor running at up to 240 MHz, supported by 512 KB SRAM, 8 MB PSRAM and 16 MB Flash memory, providing sufficient resources for advanced user interfaces and IoT applications. The 1.28-inch round IPS display offers a resolution of 240 × 240 px and capacitive touch control for convenient and intuitive interaction.

CrowPanel 1.28inch-HMI - board interfaces and components

The device supports both touchscreen control and rotary knob input. The knob can be rotated clockwise and counterclockwise and also operates as a push button, allowing intuitive adjustment of parameters such as volume, brightness or menu selection. The module supports 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy / Bluetooth 5.0, allowing integration with IoT devices and smart home systems. Built-in UART, I2C and FPC interfaces provide connectivity for additional modules and peripherals, while RESET and BOOT buttons simplify programming and device control. A power indicator and LED ambient lighting provide status indication and additional visual effects.

CrowPanel is designed with low power consumption in mind, making it suitable for both stationary and portable devices. Compatibility with Arduino IDE and the LVGL library allows users to create custom graphical user interfaces. The module can be used in smart home projects, industrial control systems, IoT devices, access control systems, regulators, control panels and custom input devices. It can also be used as a secondary PC display or a rotary controller in DIY projects.
