Digital ambient light sensor with I²C interface, designed to measure light intensity with a response similar to the human eye.
TSL25711FN is an integrated ambient light sensor developed by ams OSRAM, belonging to the TSL2571 family. The device converts light intensity directly into a digital signal accessible via the I²C interface.
It features a dual photodiode architecture that enables accurate light measurement closely matching human eye response and supports operation across a wide dynamic range—from very low light levels to bright sunlight.
With a high dynamic range (up to approximately 1,000,000:1) and low power consumption, the device is well suited for applications such as automatic display brightness control, mobile devices, and consumer electronics.
The device is marked as obsolete / discontinued, so it is recommended to use alternative components in new designs.
