Description
HAT module MCC 134 system designed for Raspberry Pi minicomputers. It provides 24-bit resolution and high accuracy. The board has insulated inputs to which up to four differential thermocouples (TC) can be connected. TC types are software selected per channel and TC values can be updated every 1 second. MCC 134 is equipped with Thermocouple Open Circuit Detection (OTD) for all input channels, allowing users to monitor the PCB for broken or disconnected thermocouples. The module also has three high resolution Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) sensors. Up to eight modules can be placed on one Raspberry Pi.
The HAT configuration parameters are stored in the built-in EEPROM which allows the Raspberry Pi to automatically configure the GPIO pins when the HAT is connected. The open source MCC DAQ HAT library available in C/C++ and Python allows users to build Raspberry Pi applications using Linux.
