Description

HAT module MCC 128 system designed for Raspberry Pi minicomputers. Provides 8 single-ended analog inputs (SE) or 4 differential inputs (DIFF) with a resolution of 16 bits, sampling rates up to 100 kS/s and a range of +/- 10 V, +/- 5 V, +/- 2 V, or +/- 1V. The module uses a bi-directional clock pin which allows the use of an external or internal clock signal. The external digital trigger input is software configurable and can respond to a rising or falling edge, or high or low state. The MCC 128 system is supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V provided by the GPIO connector. Up to eight modules can be placed on one Raspberry Pi, which provides up to 64 analog channels.

The HAT configuration parameters are stored in the built-in EEPROM which allows the Raspberry Pi to automatically configure the GPIO pins when the HAT is connected. The open source MCC DAQ HAT library available in C/C++ and Python allows users to build Raspberry Pi applications using Linux.
