A magnetic latching relay that features low power consumption and quiet operation. It allows switching of signals up to 36 V and 10 A. It remains in the last position it was in before power was lost. DFRobot DFR0996
The magnetic latching relay is a new type of relay that is characterised by its low power consumption and quiet operation. It remains in the last position it was in before losing power, so it often acts as a memory circuit. It can also be referred to as a bistable, pulse or latching relay.
The module allows switching signals of up to 36 V and 10 A. Unlike latchless relays, the latch relay requires two digital pulse signals to switch the ON/OFF state. It helps reduce energy dissipation in the application circuit because the coil does not need to be energised at all times. Switches without making a sound, providing maximum operational comfort. It can be used to control home appliances or lighting in applications such as smart meters, lighting, sockets and switches. Full documentation and examples of use are available on the product page.
