RXE002 is an input/output module supporting Modbus RTU over USB and RS485 and Modbus TCP over Ethernet. It has 4 built-in SPST relays and 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs and 4 analog inputs. All analog inputs are polarized and support a 4 to 20 mA current loop, making this device more useful in industry.
The RS485/USB/Ethernet host interface makes it relatively easy to connect this device to any Windows, Linux, Mac or embedded computer. Support for the standard Modbus protocol makes it easy to use the device with almost any automation software that supports Modbus RTU/TCP. RXE002 is detected by the system as a regular serial port, which provides a clear interface to access the device. The module operates as a Modbus slave device. The flexible DIN rail mounting system allows easy installation and removal with screws. RXE002 supports several functions such as time relay, safety clock (watchdog), programmable power-on state, thus ensuring a high level of safety and operational reliability.
