Description

The Waveshare RP2350-Relay-6CH-W relay module is designed for industrial applications requiring reliable load control and a high level of electrical isolation. The system is built around the RP2350B microcontroller developed by Raspberry Pi, offering a unique dual-core, dual-architecture design with selectable ARM Cortex-M33 or Hazard3 RISC-V cores operating at frequencies up to 150 MHz.

The module is equipped with six high-quality electromechanical relays rated up to 10 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC, enabling direct control of mains-powered and low-voltage devices. Comprehensive protection is provided through optocoupler isolation, digital isolation, and an isolated power supply, effectively protecting the control circuitry from interference generated by the load side.

The RP2350-Relay-6CH-W version integrates the Raspberry Pi Radio Module 2, delivering 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for remote control and network-based applications. An isolated RS485 interface with Modbus RTU support enables integration with industrial automation systems, while the 40-pin Pico HAT-compatible header allows further expansion with modules such as CAN, RS232, LoRa, RTC, or additional sensors.

The rugged DIN-rail-mount ABS enclosure and wide 7–36 V DC power input range make the module suitable for control cabinets and industrial installations. Built-in status LEDs, an RGB LED, and a passive buzzer provide clear visual and audible feedback for diagnostics and system monitoring.
