DLP 4750LC2 RGB 2000 lm On Axis Projection is an advanced module based on DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, designed as an evaluation and production platform for industrial and research-and-development applications. The device was developed by EKB Technologies and uses the DLP4710 (0.47" Full HD 1080p) Digital Micromirror Device, enabling the generation of high-quality images and highly precise projection patterns.
The module offers projection brightness of up to 2000 lumens, making it well suited for applications that require intense illumination and clearly visible light patterns. Combined with a Full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution and a high pattern generation speed of up to 1440 Hz for binary patterns, the platform enables the development of advanced imaging and projection systems.
The system uses DLPC3479 controllers responsible for controlling the DMD chip and managing image generation. Power management and LED control are handled by the DLPA3005 device, which functions as both a power management IC and an LED driver. The module includes a ready-to-use RGB LED optical engine, providing users with a complete projection platform ready for integration into external systems.
The device allows easy synchronization with other system components thanks to support for two configurable trigger inputs and one trigger output. This enables integration with cameras, sensors, or other measurement devices, which is particularly important in machine vision and measurement systems.
The platform is designed for applications such as 3D scanning, 3D printing, robotics and cobot vision systems, medical imaging, automated optical inspection (AOI), and facial recognition systems. Its compact design and high projection brightness make it suitable for integration into a wide range of professional industrial solutions. The kit includes all essential components required to start the system, including control boards, the optical engine, the DMD device, flex cables, and LED cables.
Note
The module supports a maximum LED current of up to 16 A, enabling high illumination performance.
