It communicates with M5 series devices via a UART interface via the Grove connector (Port C), enabling integration with smart home systems, environmental monitoring, and sensor networks. It can operate as a gateway (e.g., Thread Border Router) or an end device, working with a host or standalone in IoT applications. It features a built-in encryption chip, a programming connector, and a USB Type-C port for debugging and firmware updates.
