Description
Prusament PLA Gravity Grey is designed for 3D printing parts requiring high surface quality, precise detail reproduction, and stable printing performance. The filament is manufactured by Prusa Research in a controlled production process that includes continuous diameter monitoring, color consistency inspection, and mechanical property testing. Each spool features an individual QR code providing access to the real production parameters of a specific batch.
PLA material features low shrinkage and good dimensional stability, reducing the risk of warping and enabling reliable printing even on open-frame 3D printers. The Gravity Grey color provides a uniform matte surface finish and good visibility of printed details. The filament is suitable for visual models, prototypes, decorative parts, and prints with moderate mechanical requirements. Compared to PETG, PLA offers better fine-detail reproduction and higher surface quality, while providing lower temperature resistance.
The spool is equipped with an NFC tag enabling automatic filament recognition in compatible Prusa 3D printers, simplifying material setup and print management.
