K-Type Thermocouple Module

The Digilent PmodTC1 is a temperature sensing peripheral module with cold-junction compensation and a K-Type thermocouple and is capable of measuring temperature ranging from -270° C to 1372° C. The temperature data is sent in an SPI read-only format as a signed 14-bit data stream with 0.25° C of resolution. Rather than being limited to measuring the ambient temperature, the TC1 with its K-Type thermocouple can safely collect specific point temperatures without damaging the IC.
