

The STMPS2141STR power supply switch is designed for circuits with high capacitive loads and short circuits. If the output current exceeds the limit, the system will switch to the constant current mode, while if the circuit starts charging too high current or there is a short-circuit, thermal protection will activate, which will switch the system off to prevent damage. After the system has cooled down to its normal temperature, the system will be switched on automatically. The switch can conduct a maximum current of 500 mA in continuous mode or 1000 mA of instantaneous current. The system operates on voltages from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. When in sleep mode, it draws a maximum of 12 μA.
