

The adjustable proximity sensor is a sensor operating in the infrared band, allowing detection of objects in its field of view. The distance range in which it is possible to adjust is 3-50 cm. The sensor is small, cheap and easy to use and assemble. Ideally suited for applications in robotics applications, e.g. as an "obstacle detector" on the way of a mobile robot.
