A set with an adapter dedicated to the FLIR Lepton thermal imaging camera and the FLIR Lepton FS camera. The adapter is pre-configured to function as a plug-and-play UVC 1.0 USB camera that will work with standard webcam drivers and video applications on all major platforms. PureThermal 3 is equipped with an STM32F412 microcontroller for image processing. The board also has pins with a raster of 2.54 mm, on which the UART and I2C interfaces were brought out.
The FLIR Lepton FS is a LWIR thermal imaging camera equipped with a matrix with a resolution of 160 x 120 pixels with progressive scan. It offers a viewing angle of 71° (diagonal) and 51° (horizontal) and can download data at a frequency of up to 8.7 Hz. It is calibrated and allows you to obtain accurate information about the temperature on the surface in a non-contact way. Thanks to its small size, the camera can be easily integrated with mobile devices as an infrared sensor. For communication, the module uses the SPI interface (image transfer) and I2C (configuration). The user has access to extensive support in the form of libraries and open-source GetThermal software.
