The presented system solves the important problem of galvanic separation of the device connected to the computer through the RS485 interface. This solution is quite often required in industrial automation systems.
The small dimensions of the tile and only a few elements are due to the specialized ADM2482 system. It includes a differential RS232 interface, an asymmetrical TTL interface and a DC / DC converter with transformers supplying power.
The device is especially recommended in devices using the RS232 interface
Selected parameters:
- full galvanic isolation of the RS485 port
- only one specialized arrangement of salons
- power supply of the insulated part from the integrated voltage converter
- small dimensions, small number of elements
- 3.3V or 5Vdc power supply (depending on the transformer used)
