Among the various radio broadcasts on the short wave bands, the SSB single-band modulation reigns for years. By sending just one sideband, you save significant power and bandwidth. The transmitter occupies a narrower bandwidth, which allows more stations to be operated.
We offer a system that is a phase-homodyne minitransceiver. This simple design can be a great didactic field for beginner shortwave radio players. It can be an exercise before a much more complex and much more expensive construction.
TinySSB uses a direct conversion system. The radio signal coming from the antenna is demodulated in the mixer, which also receives the signal from the local generator. Jergo frequency is shifted by the distance to obtain an acoustic band. During broadcasting, the mixer works as a modulator

The device is especially recommended for amateur amateur radio enthusiasts - electronics
