Rich in the possibilities of expansion and the number of various functions, a simple robot aimed at all who want to deal with robotics, or who have some experience in the construction and programming of robots. The project can be both a fun base and testing of advanced algorithms: Line Follower, Light Follower, Maze Mouse and others.

Recommendations: robot for independent construction, for robotics enthusiasts at various levels. Recommended especially as an educational project

Basic parameters:

  • one-sided plates with dimensions: 93.6 × 121.3 mm (main) and 112.7 × 120.3 mm (sensory)
  • power supply from batteries or rechargeable batteries (6 VDC)
  • ATmega8L microcontroller (or similar)
  • open construction for expansion
  • drive: 2 DC motors or converted servos
  • sensors: 2 × phototransistors, 2 × line sensors, 3 × infrared radars, 1 × contact sensor
  • user interface: 2 × programmable microswitch, reset button, LED diodes (2 × green, 2 × red), 1 × piezo buzzer
  • available sets of functions: light follower, line follower, remote controlled robot (RC5), avoiding obstacles, etc.
  • built-in universal board
  • possibility to drive motors up to 2A
  • programming by Kanda ISP connector
  • in the set two printed circuit boards and documentation
