The presented device is a rotational speed meter and its main advantages - the ability to perform measurements without disassembling components, uncomplicated operation and construction. The measurement principle is reduced to the lighting of the rotating element with flashing light generated by the LED diode. The flash frequency is adjusted so that the subject appears stationary. Then the measured value can be read on the display - it is calculated based on the LED pulsation set.

The device is especially recommended for the control of internal combustion engines and electric motors

• speed measurement in the range of 120-42000 rpm
• a system designed based on the ATmega8 microcontroller with a 16MHz clock
• change of the reference frequency: pulser and buttons
• LCD 16x2 display
• power supply - 7-12Vdc
