Digital class D amplifiers are increasingly used in audio equipment. This is contrary to the opinion that they have a worse sound than amplifiers working in the AB class. To convince the doubters that this is not true, we urge you to assemble (and use) the presented set.
The biggest advantage of class D amplifiers is their high efficiency. In practice, this means the possibility of abandoning large heat sinks, one power supply voltage and small dimensions of the entire system.
Amplifiers working in class D have efficiency of up to 90% and it is not paid by the complexity of the electronic system. All you need is one integrated circuit, several additional elements and we can compare the sound.
