PID (Proportional Integral-Differential) controllers are commonly used in technical parameters control systems; temperature, pressure, strength, etc. Their advantage is high accuracy of regulation.
The presented regulator ensures smooth regulation of the heater's power. The triac is the role of the executive element. The device has implemented a self-tuning algorithm, used for independent selection of settings depending on the size of the monitored facility. The controller is operated from the operator panel, it can also work with a PC.
