A set of spacers and connectors together with PCBs for the expansion of the Pololu 3pi robot. Black PCB in a version without cutouts for the display and connectors.

The expansion plate adapts to the chassis diameter of 3pi and is mounted just above the wheel tops with the four attached screws and spacers. Once assembled, the circuit board has electrical connections with the base, which allows you to connect your own electronics with a 3pi robot. These connections provide access to the ATmega168 LCD contacts, ISP programming contacts and free/shorted contacts, as well as to three voltages: VBAT (battery voltage), VCC (regulated 5 V) and VBST (regulated 9,25 V, which is supplied to the motors ). In addition, the expansion board connects to the base's power button and battery charging port, allowing you to add your own power buttons and charging ports.

This version of the kit may be better than the version with cutouts for those users who need additional I/O lines or additional space for prototyping and do not need an LCD display.
