The TowerPro MG-90 servo is the "metal" equivalent of the well-known and extremely popular SG-90 servo and its successors - SG-91R. It is characterized by precise work, higher than in the case of servos with traditional torque modes and extremely low, as for servo with metal gears - only 14 g! In addition, the MG-90 servo is equipped with a precision bearing, thanks to which the servo speed has also increased by an additional 20% from 0.14 sec. up to 0.11 sec at 4.8 V, and all this with the dimensions of a typical "nine" - just 23 x 12.2 x 29 mm!
We recommend it wherever it is necessary to use a bit more power for standard applications, or whenever the servo is more likely than not to be exposed to possible "injuries" due to its location. It successfully replaces much more expensive and somewhat "worn-out" servos such as Hitec HS-82 MG or HS-81, offering similar power properties at a more compact size and lower weight. Perfect for ailerons for acrobats, glider rudders, as a throttle servo in combustion models or even for small cars in 1:16 and 1:18 scale. The MG-90 servo is thus a very successful conversion of slightly larger and heavier servos with metal modes to perfectly match the small "micro" class servo models.
