The system is a simple complement to virtually any microprocessor system. It allows sending any DTMF code to the telephone line, thus dialing the telephone number and remote control of devices equipped with a DTMF code receiver.
The great advantage of the system is that it is not necessary to use additional processor leads for its use. It can work in any microprocessor system with I2C bus, and the only limitation is the maximum number of PCF8574 chips connected simultaneously to this bus. Taking into account two versions of this system: PCF8574 and PCF8574A, this number is 16.
