A module of a universal, miniature intermediary converter in data exchange between a PC equipped with a USB port and any digital system equipped with UART. The conversion is performed using the FT232R system. It supports, among others bi-directional, asynchronous data transmission, cooperation with USB1.1, USB2. 0 (in Full Speed mode), support for 7/8 bit frames, 1 / 2bit stops, parity none, even, Win 98 / 98SE / Me / 2000? XP / CE / Vista, Mac-Os and Linux drivers.
The device is especially recommended in microcomputer systems
